Welcome, friends!

My daughter was diagnosed with a severe allergy to corn. Once I had the diagnosis in hand, I went to the internet for information. Unfortunately there wasn't much out there. So, after a ton of research, I decided to share what I have learned so that hopefully it will help someone else. If you have questions or comments please feel free to email me!

Hi there! I just found your blog while doing some searches on corn allergies. My infant son is 7 1/2 months old and we are seeing an allergist on Nov. 5th. I suspect he may be allergic to corn. I may have missed it on here, but did you share what your child's symptoms were? I'm just curious. This is all so new to me! Thanks for anything info you have to share!

Hi Mary! Thanks for writing. Sissy had a constant cough and runny nose. She was constantly clearing her throat. The final straw came when I got a call from her school that she was covered in hives. I made an appointment with our allergist right away - I was so glad to know what her allergy was, but then the realization hit that a corn allergy is really difficult to manage. What symptoms does your squirty suffer?
